This isn't a post to gloat, really it's because I came so far and this will help me have a better future. Things have aligned well for me, because I've really been very passionate about controlling my spending. I've really tried to research and understand what it takes to get a great credit score and CL. I wish the best to everyone in their own journey.

First off I was so nervous about this last CLI. I knew I was already pushing the limits of what any sane credit card company should extend to my income range. Using MyFico has taught me that, it's not about what you think you deserve, it's about what they will extend to you.
If you look good enough on paper, then they'll give you more paper so to say. Discover has trust in me and i'm glad for that. It's like I got my credit card pregnant in July and now it's given birth to a huge CL 
My current credit line is: $16,000 April 2nd, 2016.
My starting credit line was: $1,000 July 2nd, 2015.
First CLI: October 2nd, 2015. $1,000 --> $5,000.
Second CLI: November 2nd, 2015. $5,000 --> $9,000.
Denied CLI: December 2nd, 2015. $9,000.
Third CLI: January 4th, 2016. $9,000 --> $13,000.
Fourth CLI: April 2nd, 2016. $13,000 --> $16,000.
All CLI's were soft pulls.
Spent $1,000+ and Paid in full every month.
I call up for all my CLI's and never push the luv button.
Ever since I passed maybe 5k I've had to speak with someone extra to get approval.
Thank you Discover for giving me really the most you can give me for my yearly income. I will work hard to make more money so I can get another CLI increase in the next 2 years

I really thought that 13k limit was it, that's why I stopped requesting for 3 months. Then I came on here and saw that people were getting 17k limits, so I set April 2nd in my calendar. I was nervous, thinking is it even possible for me to get another 4k increase? Well 4k didn't happen, but they did give me 3k.
Of course I must thank MyFico for always tempting me to keep asking for more Also I'll thank my authorized users that give me a reason to go for more CLI's and keep a zero balance
Don't worry I'm a very excellent borrower and that's why they extend me these limits. I acquire new cards around every 6 months. I might even expand that time frame depending what's being offered out there. Citi Double Cash World Elite, your next in July, once this Discover double cash ends for me.
