After much research, I decided it was time to ditch the old Cap One Plat card...$4300 CL @ high interest. This leaving me with only 3 cards, I decided to apply to Chase. I got the instant approval with $5000 SL but at 23.24% (Mafia rates).
All my scores are in the 650 range so I was willing to accept the high rate for now.
Thanks for all the information shared here, without it, I'd still be in the low 500's with a First Premier card....
