Ok I was just blown away by this. Just started rebuilding my credit in Nov of last year after I settled a Midland judgment and it was removed from my CR's. My starting Exp score was 617 in Nov 2015. Currently I am at 722 EXP (was at 741 but dropped some due to recent apps).
Currently my CR shows WF rewards CC at $1500, CAP1 QS1 at $2000, Alliant secured loan $80 and AU on BOA card at $19500, all added since november 2015
In the last two months I was approved for an AMEX BCE $2000 and PRG but neither are on my CR yet.
I have been getting Chase mail offers for the last month for the freedom but was not too crazy about the high APR they were offering (23.24%) so I decided against applying even though I wanted the freedom badly. I was not getting any offers online.
Well today I was bored and decided to apply for the freedom. I decided not to use the invitation code from the mailers but instead just to cold app.
Instant approval for $12500 at 14.24% APR. I was surprised!!!!
How in the heck did I get such a high limit and low apr when the mail offers showed a pre approval with such a high APR?????
Anywho I am definetly excited and thought I would share. Off to the garden, I am done for a few years, lol
