Well, I received an invitation to apply for this card. Bonus offer was for 50k after spending 1k instead of the 30k. I was turned down for this card back in November so I was getting ready to rip apart the invitation and throw it in the trash but decided what the heck, worse that can happen is I get denied. I went to the website and entered my offer code and info. The wheel spun for what seem like an eternity and bam, I saw Congratulations on the screen. Once I got my account info my happy face turned upside down. My SL is only 1k but thinking about I was lucky to get approved and judging by the SL I was borderline, could've been declined too.
Happy to be in with AMEX even for a co-branded card. Now any advice as to dealing with AMEX, should I just lay low for couple months and just use it to get the bonus?
