Applied tonight for Amex BCE with a preapproval for it and the ED. After hitting the submit button, it took forever to give me a decision and when it did it was the "still processing" page. So I called into the New Accounts department, and spoke with a nice CSR who asked a couple of verification questions since this was my first time ever applying with Amex. The best part was when he told me while looking at my CR "I can see youve been diligently improving your credit for the past few years. Im glad to tell you your hard work has paid off as youre now a member of the American Express family!" I got chills! He expedited the shipping of the card to 2-3 days, and I cant WAIT for it to get here.
I finally feel like my rebuilding is paying off!
