I have been in the garden for six years and decided to come off to get a CC with low interest rates, no BT and CA fees. DCU Platinum VISA caught my eyes so I pulled the trigger Thursday morning. First I applied for a membership with $20 deposit to savings, including a $10 donation to a charity, and a free checking. Instant approval with one EQ HP. Then I proceeded to apply for the platinum VISA. One more EQ HP and went into pending mode. Checked an hour later, it was APPROVED and FUNDED with 10K SL and 8.75 APR!!! Exactly what I was looking for. IMHO, it worth the 2 HPs. Thanks for the advice from the earlier threads about DCU.
