Just called to cancel my target redcard. Opened it up about five months ago with a $300 credit line. When I called and heard the account summary I now have a credit line of $800. Even with the small increase this is probably the happiest I have been with a CLI since it makes the card more usable. Seems very strange though cause I have only put $35.00 through the card the first month through it and then paid it off (havent used since at all). Also opened up a few AMEX cards last month which dinged my score. It doesn't seem like there is really a clear picture or why/when target does a CLI but I am still happy with it.
Also, recently approved for AMEX PRG which has been my goal card for a while!
Just thought this might be interesting/helpful to others since I have read alot about the craziness with their CLI process.
