I tried my luck with the love button for a Amazon Prime Store CLI but was denied, so then I decided to call. I requested via automated and it wad denied also. Then I decided to call and speak with someone. I spoke with a person instead and advised I wanted to place an order but did not have enough available to do so. he asked me about my income 115K waited a sec and he said I was approved 1K, I said lets try for more, he did it again, was approved another 1k for 3K. he warned me that I may be getting a hard pull on my credit and said OK lets stop. Plus I advised this that I had creit alerts and nothing had come across yet., so it looks like they were SP. I took that and said OK that's enough. I can live with that.
I was able to get a CLI from $800 to $3500. My credit limit was $800 with $300 balance, I've only had the card for 3 months.I've paid it in full every month except. This month I decided to leave a small balance and pay 1/2 of the balance. But mu overall utilization is 8%, so I knew I could push the limit a tad this month. Our call lasted 13 mins.
