I've been getting antsy in the garden since I'm waiting for an account to age so I can apply for the CSP in June. So I decided to do something the tiniest bit risky and ask AMEX for a CLI.
I don't remember initial limit (like 12k or something) because I asked for a CLI on activation and got it to 25k within a couple days of having the card. That was almost a year ago in June. Today, I decided to push my luck and see if I'd be asked for a 4506T while asking for a 50k CL. To my surprise, AMEX countered with $34,700!
I figured I'd share as another one of those datapoints that 25k is not the hard number before income needs to be verified. Happy Saturday!
