Alliant Credit Union VISA Approval

So, this morning after reading many posts on this forum about Alliant, I decided to join and apply for their Rewards Visa.  I received a message that it was under review and then received an email within about an hour that my Visa was approved and would be mailed to me shortly.  I asked for only $7,500 because I didn't want to run the risk of being denied for asking for too much and because my credit scores are still a little low.  Wasn't sure how that worked with Alliant.  I have also apped a lot lately (about 15 in 3 months), so I thought that would be a factor, but apparently, it didn't matter to them.  I was recently approved for 2 PenFed cards with $6,500 CLs each, so this is my biggest card so far.  So thrilled!  I want big cards, but I don't want/need any big purchases.  I think I'm just a credit junkie...
