Initially I had requested over the phone for an increase for the first time March 31st,I got 1000.It made my limit 1800.00.I was happy considering this time last year I didnt own a single cc.Its been a journey.So,today I call and just inquired when my last request was and when I was able to request again and they said today, if I wanted.I made sure it was no hp.The rep submitted and said it was under review and transferred me to credit rep.After a min or so I was on phone with rep who said I was approved for a 1000.00!! Yeah me! That puts me at 3000.00.I know this a toy limit to some but suits me just fine for now.I love my Discover card.I wish Amex would get on my board however.I also called them and get connected with credit specialist who said they didnt know if it would would be a soft or hard inquiry for CLI and not only that they seem really short and sometimes border line rude.My goal is to increase my limit with Amex though because they have me at the best APR....I am loving the LUV from Discover and less than 90 days at that!
