I'm so happy that my Citibank Aadvantage just got approved 30 minutes ago. My credit history was still quite new(only 8 months) and I only had two credit cards before this (BOA $1500, Cap Quicksilver 1 $500). I was approved with a $3900, which I was very surprised. I would love to share my experences here.
Before I applied this card, I applied for Cap1, BOA CLI and Chase Southwest(denied) a month ago. I saw I was pre-qualified for this card and would love to give it a shot. I applied it two days ago. After I applied, I wasn't given an instant approval. I got the "need further processing time and will contact me within a week message". Called the "recon line" and was told the same thing: I need to wait. So I called the backdoor EO number yesterday morning and spoke to a very nice lady. She was very willing to help and she said she will call me back. She did call me back yesterday afternoon and asked me to send her copies of my SSN and 2015 Tax return. I told her my income was significantly lower than this year. So I emailed her my SSN, offer letter, recent pay stub and my last year's tax return last night. Early this morning, I got the approval email and I was even more pumped to see the credit line they gave me!
