I want to stay in the garden, but there is this evil thing that's making me apply! I have been rebuilding and I was approved for an Amazon store card today for $1200, called the recon phone # (877-379-8173) and asked for $3000 total ( I know I should have asked for more, but I'm TRYING to take it slow), was approved for the full $3000!! I was shocked!! My highest limit ever and I never would have known to call and do a recon if it were not for MyFico forums!! I did not apply for the Amazon Visa because I didn't think that I had a chance and I still don't. I wonder if they could use the same pull??? I was also approved for a Target card for $300. Shocked because I applied with them in Jan of this year and was declined. I would love to have more at Target, but from reading this forum, they start almost everyone at $300 and you can't ask for recon with them. If you can, let me know!! I will NOT be applying for anything else for at least 6 months! My scores as of today are 635 for Equifax, 658 for Experian, and 673 for Transunion.
