Haven't posted in quite a while. After my AMEX, Western PLOC, and Lowes approvals (app spree) back in July of last year, I guess I've been gardening. :-)
So anyways, I still have quite a large balance on my NFCU Cash Rewards card running on the 2.99% BT offer a few months ago. I decided to consolidate the rest of my balances. This was prompted by an email invite I got from NFCU to app for their GO Rewards card. I figured "what the heck". I already have a mortgage, NavCheck, CashRewards CC and 5 deposit accounts with them. I figured I'm good for another one with them right? Plus ZERO % for 12 months AND no BT fee? I'm there pal!
Got the 7-10 day response. Actually the initial email said they would have a decision to me within 1 day. Next day, nothing so I sent a SM and they responded with wanting proof of income, check stubs, tax returns, retirement account balances etc. I was thinking to myself, "are they about to give me a matching $43k limit like I have on my CashRewards card?"
I should be so lucky. After sending them what was requested, I was approved the following day for $13,500.
Since I know how to grow these cards, I'm OK with it.
Quick data point, they pulled EQ and I was a 736. $165k annual income. 23% UTI across 14 revolving accounts.
