I've wanted to the Chase Freedom for a while, but held off on applying for it last week when I applied for my Fidelity Visa Signature because of the rumor that the Freedom would be forcibly PCed to the Freedom Unlimited by the end of the year. Now that we know that's not the case (and with the added bonus of being 5% at Costco for the rest of the year), I decided to app before my new Fidelity card starts reporting. Instantly approved for a $10k starting limit at 19.24% APR! That's the highest starting limit I've had so far (and the highest of my CLs that aren't Discover). I'm probably done apping for cards for a while, unless I need special financing (Blispay, except I also have 0% APR on the Freedom until next year) or something goes down with the Sallie Mae MC (no sign of that happening any time soon though, knock on wood).
