Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and just wanted to start out by sharing my experience on getting approved for the Amex BCP. Amex is hungry for new customers and now is the time to apply. I was instantly approved for $10,000 with only 6 months of revolving credit history. However I had 3 cards. Cap 1 with $3000 limit opened in Jan, one Chase opened in December with $500 limit that just got increased to $4,500 a week prior to applying for BCP and a Macy's store card (ugh) opened in December with a $1,600 limit and I also have a car loan paid off 10 yrs ago giving an AAOA 2.4 yrs. They pull only experian which is my lowest score of Fico 704 with 14 inquires last one a week prior and one in Jan and 6 in December. This card does have great benefits and great website. Great card!
