I literally have been trying to get a Discover card since my junior year of college. To put things in perspective, I graduate a 3 year grad program in May. LOL. So I gave up on applying a few months ago and today I get a nailer. It had an APR range so I knew it wasnt solid, but I went for it anyway since my scores have improved. I put in my invitation number, app, I'm thinking they'll give me a measley limit, but it's approved for $4K! Can't wait to use this for category spend. My AAOA will take a hit from my PRG (1/2016) and new Venture (12/2015), but I think it's worth it for some great, long lasting cards!
