Applied on friday July 1 right before the Independence Holiday Weekend and it was an Instant Approval. (see screenshot below) However since this is an AF airlines (Air Canada) card the SL of $3K would not been very beneficial at all at that level for spend.
So after the card arrived some days later on a tuesday i called up TD Bank and requested a reconsideration that they then submitted. I called back to check up on the status of this recon the next following week and was told to try back last friday. Again checking the status for it on friday i was then told to check back this tuesday, which is today.
Instead i called yesterday (1 day early) and was told that the reconsideration had already been Approved! and that the new adjusted starting limit will be $8,500!!!
This was my very first experience with TD Bank on such a matter as this but so far i can safely say that they were very forthcoming and with enough patience very accommodating.
The APR is 12.54%.
