I was patiently waiting for some good Chase offers, but Sapphire never showed up. Finally bit the bullet and took the hard inquiry. Applied for Sapphire Preferred.
Approved with a 24k limit!
Had a Cap1 QS card that started with a $750 CL, finally worked its way up to $2k but seemed to be stuck there.
System finally approved me for a $150 increase last week, which I declined. This week, riding on the success of the Chase approval, I figured I'd give it another shot..... CLI of $2k, to a total of $4k on Cap1 QS.
Total is now Credit Union Visa @ $8.3k, BoA Cash Rewards @ $10k, Chase Sapphire @ $24k, Cap1 QS @ $4k.
EQ, EX was 764 and TU was 772 at the time of applying.
Now time to age this 'till 07/17 to put me in the 800's.
Super happy about this, given that I literally started fresh with a $600 secured card from BoA just 1,5 years ago, having first moved to the US in Jan 2015. Image may be NSFW.
