My credit Journey

Hi all, this is my first post , been here a bit and read alot and learned alot, I am from Canada and I am now living in America, been here two years, well it is very hard to get credit here without a SSN, I have a ITIN and started my credit journey  5 months ago today with a secured visa from BOA  ( this is the bank I deal with ) , after having the card for 3.5 months I applied for a Capital One Plat card, to my surprise APPROVED $300 SL but I took it because we all have to start somewhere. Well today I called my bank to see when I could graduate from secure to unsecure, the kind gentlemen said please hold while I check for you, he came back and said congrats you have a good history your card is now unsecure and your linit is now tripled, so today I am a little excited as my card of $500 became unsecured and I now have a limit of $1500. Many thanks to the people here, I learned alot from these boards. I will pull the trigger for a cli on my CO after the 2nd statement cuts on the 11th.
