Hi Forum! Back in May when I hit the 6 month mark from my first CLI from AMEX I started a thread titled "It’s Time, Need Advice for Amex CLI". I also studied The Definitive Amex 3X CLI Guide on this forum, which is a must read.
My current CL on my Amex BPC is $24k and $2k on my ED card. it was pretty much a consensus from the good people on this forum that I probably wouldn't qualify for 3x 24k due to only having the card for about a year. I delayed my decision a little bit waited, but then last week I went ahead and asked for a CLI to $50k.
As expected they asked for a 4506T, I filled it out right away they called me to confirm some information and exactly 7 days later... Success!.... they granted me a $50k credit line. There was no hard pull on any bureau, i am over the moon ecstatic.
Thanks to all of the great people on this board who give great solid advice, my credit profile has changed dramatically by reading and studying the information available here and worth every dime of my membership fee. This forum is not about tricking the credit agencies, this forum and the great people here teach you how to responsibly handle your finances and your credit profile will grow naturally.
Thanks again to all, maybe we will try again in 6 months.....lol. At this point its just an ego thing, I really don't need a higher line.
PS: Coincidentally the same week Barclays MC gave me a CLI from $8k up to $10k and Home Depot went from $7k to $8k, this was done without a request from me. The Barclays MC was about 6 months old and HD was about 4 months old. So all in all it was a good week for my available credit.
