Well I had to take a HP to get a small (IMO) cli from Penfed. I called in to do it this time as opposed to doing it online. The csr asked if this was for a BT to which I said yes. I asked before she took app if I could cancel if their was a problem using the hp from 5/21/16. She said yes and took app and then put me on hold. I knew at that point it was a new hp. So she comes back and said it has been referred to a loan officer. Within 10 minutes, I checked application status and was approved for a 5k cli making my new limit 12.5k. I'll take it. I have the Amex Defender which I haven't used with its 5k limit. Want to ask on that too but I'm sure it'll be anothe hp and likely denial with this approval.
