First a couple weeks ago, had my eye on the Amex Everyday as I needed a BT offer and wanted another amex. Instantly approved for 5k. Wish they would have matched my 12k BCE but its okay.
Last night I was glancing at an email, and also a mail offer from Amex for their Platinum. I was gonna wait, as my SCRA benefits will eliminate the fee beginning Nov 1. I couldn't resist, and also thought that if I kept a balance on the ED card it would decrease my chances as I know Amex hates balances.
Instantly approved for Platinum. Now in a couple months i'll get the fee waiver and it will be even better
