So I applied for membership some time late August via Navy League SD. Faxed everything in including copy of DL, SS Card and proof of address jusy to tie up any potential loose ends. I let it sit then got my HP allert via Credit Karma on 9/19 followed by my welcome email a few hours later. Got super busy so I never bothered to call in to get access to my online account til today. I called and spoke with a super nice rep who after verifying info from my credit report was able to set me up for access on the phone. She told me that I could add my external account to fund my savings and so on. Hung up and logged in to get started and had some issues getting my external account linked....I'll call back later for help with that.
Got brave and decided to app for a CC. Went too fast any my eyes saw annual income not monthly and I hit submit. Immediately went into 24hr review so I fished around and found the link to check status and also saw I could send a secured msg. Sent them a msg apologizing for my misread on the application and gave them my actual monthy income. Didn't expect to hear anything til Monday or so but boom I get an email a few min ago saying application status has been update...so I log in to find a thanks for the updated income and we are happy to approve you for a 12k limit. My highest staring limit ever was from Discover at 6.5k.
My TU currently sits at about 698 and my highest reporting limit is my 7.5k Discover as my PenFed CC hasn't update it's new 9k limit.
Sorry for the long post but I am a bit floored by all of this. Can I say that my NFCU rep was amazing as well.
