Just thought I would share a data point from my experience with Cap1. I have had a QS Visa for a few years now and recently received a CLI to bring my total CL on this card to 5750. I waited about a week after my CLI to see if I could now get an upgrade to Visa Signature. I tried 3 times via online chat and was told each time it is impossible as all they can do is PC fro m venture to QS and vice versa etc... I then sent a PM on their Facebook page and got a reply within the hour to contact them at their general customer service line. I called fully expecting the same no go answer. The CSR Abby was extremely nice and said she needed to transfer me to a credit specialist. After verifying my info again, the specialist said they would be happy to upgrade me to the Visa Signature. I listened to the disclosure and agreed and am now waiting impatiently (they say it could take up to 4 weeks which is crazy) for my QS with the Visa Signature logo to arrive.
So to sum up... Same Quicksilver card (always been a QS) with incremental CLI over the years and finally went above $5000. Waited a week after the increase. Tried online chat 3 times to no avail. Sent message via Facebook. called general customer service line and was approved for PC to Visa Signature.
