You all are some of the most AMAZING people I've ever met on a platform such as this. My last update was about 7
months ago, after declaring a ceasefire on my application addiction....Lol. Since that time I took some time away to regroup
and grow the accounts I did have. I'm all the better for it and the encouragement and wisdom I received has made me smarter
and wiser with my credit. So, THANK YOU all so very much. I am completely humbled by the wealth of knowledge on this
forum. Having said that, on to the results.
Last week I decided it would be alright to stick my head out of the garden for some CLI's from my favorite bank, Synchrony.
I was not ready for the first wave. I applied for increases on my Amazon, Walmart, Chevron, Smart Connect and JCP. Hadn't
asked for any since the summer and their answer on all was a resounding, NO! What?!?!?! My TU was a 690. After
picking up my pride and my dignity, I grew determined, thanks @pizza1 for your inspiration.....

The next day my TU went up 708, so I went hard after reading some of the successes from some of the Fico family. So I got
my IPad and went to town:
Stash Platinum Visa - APPROVED (SL $4,000, called in, new limit $12,000) TU
Ebates Platinum Visa - APPROVED (SL $1,800, called in, need to receive and activate card first) TU
TJX Store Card 
- APPROVED (SL $400, called in, new limit $4,000) TU
The Gap Visa [in store] - APPROVED (SL $800, called in, new limit $7,000) TU
Cabelas Visa - APPROVED (SL unkown, will call in, TBA) EQ
Chase Amazon Visa - APPROVED (SL $500, do they recon new limits????)
I'm over the moon..........
!!!!! Finally got in with Chase, even if the limit is itty bitty.....
Cabelas was a shock since they denied me last summer. Waiting on the Ebates card to come in so I can call back.
Of course, there were a few denials: Barclay, Discover, IHG Chase (too many new accounts), and Citi AA.
Still not there yet, but I'll take these. Can't understand Synch not budging on my old accounts and blessing my
new ones. Oh well, such is life!
Now its time for closures, but I'll start a new thread in the credit card section. Again, from the bottom of my
heart, thank you for helping me on my credit journey. It's great to be back......YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!
