I have been in the garden for about a year now. After a recent trip to Brazil, I decided that I needed more travel cards to help with future trips to Brazil.
First, I applied for the Delta Gold Amex card. I was approved with a $1000 limit with 50,000 miles if spend $1000 in within 90 days. I already spent $1000 within 3 days and paid balance, now i'm waiting on my points to post! Considering that I am already a Skymiles member with many miles, I now have enough miles to finance my next trip to Brazil in July. Next, I applied for the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Mastercard and was approved with a $5000 limit. I will receive 50,000 miles after spending $3,000 within 3 months. Finally, I applied for the Barclasy Arrival World Mastercard. I was initially denied, but I called the recon line and was approved for a $2000 limit with 20,000 miles if spend $1000 within 3 months. All in all, it was a very good app spree. I now have enough points and miles to take care of my next 3 trips to Brazil!
