So i apply for QS1 and Platinum MC for DW to help with her credit last week. She got approved for both, with a small SL of $300 each, and the cards were mailed out last week on the 20th i think and we just got them in a few minutes ago and logged in to activate them. Platinum goes thru with no problem, but QS1 said Restricred Account. So we call in to see what's going on and sure enough there is already 2 attempted charges on the card in CA, and we are in the mid south! How come can they even get a hold of the card number before we even get them in the mail, it is crazy...!
And one question about these 2 cards, can they be combined down the road and how long should the accounts be open, and what would be the best way to do it? Such as upgrade QS1 to QS, and then combine platinum maybe?
