Some people here are really bad influences *cough* creditaddict *cough*.
Took a walk over to my local Banana Republic earlier today to re-apply for the Visa version since my store card has hit 2+ years and no upgrade has been offered to me.
The girl at the counter didn't seem to know what she was doing, so it took a while longer. She was prompted to call in and she needed her co-worker to help her (maybe she hadn't encountered that before...who knows?).
I didn't need to talk to the phone rep this time. Approved for the Visa with a Temporary limit of $1,000....don't know my hard limit (but probably will find out in a couple days when SYNCB reports.) I'll give Credit Solutions a call when I get this card and the Gap Visa I was approved for yesterday.
TU score was 686 as of March 1st or so.
It will be nice to nix the store cards soon...and it is nice being able to walk into stores and apply with confidence! LOL.
