I was denied by Discover about a year ago Since then, I've gotten a bunch of cards (everything in my signature after the first few) and haven't tried them again. The double bonus for the first year is pretty enticing though and I was thinking about it the past week or so. Then, low and behold, a purple pre-approval envelope arrived on Saturday and I had read on myFICO that was a good sign. I logged in, put in the invite number and got the approval!
I'll use the heck out of the 5% categories for the next year then see if I get some CLIs and it earns a place in my wallet full time. I did notice that they double pulled me EX & EQ though
