AMEX and QS

Hi guys!

I've been eyeing on this forum for the past couple weeks because I needed a credit card for study abroad that I'll be going this upcoming fall.

I was looking for no foreign transaction fee cards, but I was hesitant with cards I saw based on my searches.

And because I'm a student, I had my expectations low in terms of certain credit cards, and many of no FOREX cards seem to be for people with excellent credit.

Couple days ago, after reading this forum, I figured capital one would be the best one since it is a starter credit card, and they did not charge for foreign transaction fees.

I went to their website, and decided to do the pre-qualification, and was offered with venture and quicksilver (both visas). I was still debating because I knew I had no credit history, and all I have is 20K+ student loans that I pay very little amount per month.

I entered my info....and was approved with Quicksilver with 3K limit!!!!! I was SOOOOOO excited. (APR 18~%)

However, after reading more posts on this forum........I decided to give myself another try with other credit cards. But before I triggered, I wanted to see

if I would be pre-qualified for other cards. So I checked both Discover and AMEX, and it was a choice between Discover it or BCE, BCP, or ED.

Since I did not want to pay an annual fee, and since AMEX seemed very nice according to this forum, I decided to go ahead and apply for BCE.

BCE also had $250 sign up bonus, so I really couldn't resist.................

I submited my application and went to use the restroom, and when I came back, it said I was APPROVED!!!!!!!!

Although my limit is only 2K, I was offered with 13.24% APR which I thought was fanstastic!

Unfortunately, I have no idea what my scores are....and I'm afraid to "pull" my scores because I don't want it to affect my scores.

But I can tell you that I.....

- am a full time college student

- make around 10K/ Yr

- have 20K+ student loans

- pay 0 for rent

- have no savings account

- have a checking with barely 1k+

I don't know if I have a good credit or bad credit....... what would be the estimate of my scores??????
