My one year mark with Discover came around a little more than a week ago, started at $1k limit (at the time I had less than a year's credit to my name). I pressed the luv button last week, but no dice after the 2 day review message. I pushed it again and had low expectations, but came back to another $4k CLI, making my card a $29.5k limit today! Almost at $30k, but not quite. I'm pretty excited!
My Discover credit limit history to date:
- March 2015: 1k starting limit
- 6/1/15: 1k -> 1.5k
- 7/9/15: 1.5k -> 5.5k
- 8/7/15: 5.5k -> 9.5k
- 9/11/15: 9.5k -> 13.5k
- 11/9/15: 13.5k -> 17.5k
- 12/11/15: 17.5k -> 21.5k
- 2/10/16: 21.5k -> 25.5k
- 3/14/16: 25.5k -> 29.5k
If you told me I'd have almost 30x my starting limit a year ago, I would have thought you had to be joking. This is by far and away my highest limit card. As always, I have to give my thanks to the myFICO community for all the support and helping learn a lot over the past couple of years!
