Hey FICOers! Took about a 5 month break from the site to enjoy rewards. Cashed in on miles and cash and went to Buenos Aires, Munich and Vienna. I'm a huge fan of points, miles and freebies.
Checking in now with recent approvals:
1. Discover IT
2. Marriott Rewards (for 87.5K bonus)
3. Southwest Rapid Rewards (for 50K bonus)
4. CLI to 28K on BofA Alaska
5. SP CLIs and APR reductions on Arrival + and Aviator Red (4.5K total CLIs on these)
6. 15K bonus miles on American from targeted offer using Aviator card ($500/mo for 3 months in a row)
7. $800 Amex gift card from Delta for giving up my seat on a return flight from JFK to SFO + free upgrade to First Class
8. Earned 32K bonus miles on American for flight to Munich due to free First Class upgrade
9. Upgraded to First Class 3 other times (twice on Delta and once on American) just for having their co-branded credit cards
Those of you who know me know that I'm a firm believer (and EXPERIENCER) of the value and benefits of airline cards. They certainly have more than paid their way in my book.
Next trip is to Hawaii! Taking my parents and used my $99 companion ticket on Alaska for that. BAM! That s%*t can't be beat!
